Masato Minamizuka is the Founder and Partner of Quantum Accounting Inc., a Tokyo-based advisory firm specialising in international M&A. He is directly involved in structuring and executing cross-border transactions, providing financial due diligence, purchase-price allocations, tax structuring, corporate-finance advisory, carve-out financial statements, fairness opinions and post-merger integration planning. Masato earned his BA from the University of Tokyo and an MPIA from the University of California, San Diego before qualifying as a US CPA and joining KPMG’s New York and Tokyo practices. Since establishing Quantum in 2017, he has guided Japanese and global clients through complex acquisitions and carve-outs, and he also serves on the Management Board of the Japan Rugby Football Players Association.
