Cologne-based Empower, one of the leading providers of add-ins for the professional creation and distribution of documents in Microsoft 365, has acquired Strategy Compass GmbH.

Strategy Compass, based in Düsseldorf, is the developer of the renowned PowerPoint add-in QuickSlide. With this strategic step, empower and Strategy Compass are joining forces to offer their customers a holistic end-to-end solution that combines software, service and design. Both companies were founded in 2009 with the vision of simplifying work with PowerPoint. Since then, they have undergone an impressive development and offer a comprehensive range of Microsoft Office applications, content and enablement services as well as the new empower®AI Assistant in a combined unit. These services enable customers to exploit the full potential of the software solution.

After the merger, empower employs more than 130 people and serves over 1,200 customers, including 50 percent of DAX companies.
